Cat had a very strong idea of what she wanted for this site, even just for the holding page, and this was really brought out in the design with the deep reds and feminine font. Whilst the scrapbook elements thrown in there really reflect the fun nature of, not just the dresses but, Cat herself.
Added functionality was built into the initial holding page with the contact form and a jquery sliding polaroid flicked through numerous shots of the dresses to bring the page to life a bit more. A couple steps more than your typical holding page!
The main site which took over from the much praised holding page uses the open source Magento to give Cat full control over her shop and stock, whilst Google Check Out was utilized instead of Magento's in built payment system for added security and accessibility.
The homepage greets you with an animated slideshow of the dresses, illustrated to reflect the fun, girly and sexy style of the garments. Theres also a Twitter feed on there to keep her fans updated.
